Greetings from Dakota Road Music!

You may have known us here at Dakota Road Music for a long time or this may be your first contact with us. Either way I hope you will take a good look at the resources we have to offer, not just because that's how we feed our kids, but because I am convinced that you will find something in the roots of our music that will make a difference for you and your community.

Time for some history (try not to fall asleep) Dakota Road Music started in 1988 when people began requesting copies of songs we had written. Soon thereafter we published our first liturgy and the rest of our resources grew out of requests for singable, rooted, relevant and faithful contemporary worship music. Along the way we have partnered with many other writers to offer a diversity of musical styles and ideas that have grown to be part of our musical network. Together, the musicians in our network do hundreds of appearances each year leading worship, organizing music workshops and performing concerts in churches, colleges, schools, etc... all across the country.

We have been blessed by the journey the past 15 years and are amazed at how our songs and resources have spread to all corners of the U.S. and beyond. We trust that somehow God's spirit is in the middle of it all and we hope that what we have to offer is helpful as we seek to love each other and sing to the one who has known us forever.
